About KCH

Welcome to Kamuli Children’s Home: A Beacon of Hope and Transformation

Kamuli Children’s Home (KCH), a place that brings hope and positive change to kids in Bukaye zone, Kamuli district. Our goal is simple: to help orphans and vulnerable children become strong, well-rounded individuals, following good values from the Bible.

The home located in Bukaye zone, Southern Division in Kamuli district under registration number 130010. Our major tartget beneficaries are suffering children and households that have been serverly affected by different social economic factors.

Identifying and Assessing Needs

We meticulously research children's backgrounds, ensuring eligibility for rehabilitation. Identified cases are referred to the Probation Office for necessary services, and our collaboration with community offices ensures informed and supportive processes.

Empowering Through Education and Support

We enroll the children at KCH till they complete primairy level education and are later returned to their gaurdians or safe realatives. During that period we conduct regular home visits to empower guardians with parenting skills. Workshops guide students' careers, and counseling sessions support both children and guardians.

Community Engagement

We raise awareness of children's rights, empower economically, and nurture spiritual well-being through gospel activities. Routine planning ensures the smooth operation of the center, fostering holistic well-being in our community.

Our objectives

  • Promote protection and safeguarding through a rehabilitation center and community outreaches.
  • Foster godliness and effective Christian child development through spreading the gospel in schools, churches, and the public.
  • Engage and advocate for the rights of children, women, and marginalized groups.
  • Collaborate with government, civil society, and stakeholders in strengthening child protection systems.
  • Promote economic empowerment and train volunteer ministers, counselors, and personnel.
  • Provide requirements for child development through quality education, health practices, and child welfare advocacy.
